After launching the dual foldable screen pc prototypes at CES 2020, This Wednesday, Intel’s latest processors for foldable and dual foldable PC is launched. They introduce the very first hybrid CPUs that amalgamate their high-power performance with low-power architecture. The new Lakefield CPU is centered on ultra-portable laptops, as well as dual-screen and foldable Pcs.

Among other types of unusual and feathery forms of characteristics, intel’s processors have used Foveros 3D packaging technology. This technology will help to make chips and a mixed CPU architecture. The Lakefield intel’s latest processors are much smaller than other portable CPUs. This allows OEMs to create innovative, lightweight computer hardware forms like the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Retractable and Microsoft Surface Neo Dual Display.

The Lakefield intel’s latest processor design reached the new Core i5-L16G7 and i3-L13G4 chipset. It is about to challenge the Qualcomm processor platform for a full-day battery for Windows laptops. These new Intel Core i5-L16G7 and Core i3-L13G4, all have ultrahigh-power cores and four ultrahigh-efficiency cores come at a time when Apple is attending to cut loose Intel to produce CPUs supported by ARM-hybrid design. Like phone processors, these chips combine high and low-power cores. It also combines routing functions as necessary to produce additional economical battery use. It’s the first to use twin internal show tubes, which supplies a perfect answer for foldaway and dual-screen PCs.

Intel announced that the combination of these new cores (Core i5-L16G7 and Core i3-L13G4) allows a CPU to be smaller. That is actually 56% smaller as compared to the existing ones. It results in smaller motherboards, greater flexibility in computer design, and smaller and lighter gadgets. It further stated that the chips use at least 2.5MW of power in standby mode. Which is 91% less as compared to the 8th Core i7 Y-series processor.

Core i5-L16G7 and Core i3-L13G4 work with Sunny Cove core and 4 Tremont cores. In late 2018 Intel first introduced Sunny Cove core. This was almost similar to architecture that supports 10nm “Ice Lake” CPUs for laptops.

Intel stated that Lakefield processors are “the smallest to deliver Intel Core performance and full Windows compatibility” for innovative and unusual computers by providing 56% lesser space and smaller size of about 47%. It will debut on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Foldable PC and Samsung Galaxy Book S Ultrabook which will arrive on the shelves later this month.

So, as we all know that with each passing day gadgets are becoming more and more advanced. Intel’s latest processors will give pc lovers a new boost. As they are going to reduce the size of their intel’s latest processors so that they can have foldable screen pc. Share your queries and experience with us in the comment section below
